Sun, November 30,2008:
These shoes are clearly superior to the NB1123. They are more supportive, and better cushioned. Think of them as the neutral 882 shoes, but with all the features of a motion control shoe. They do the job very effectively. I have both 1123 and these and these are definitely better shoes and better fi...

ate this shoe, doesn't come close to the NB 1010. Really sorry that shoe is being discontinued. I should have bought 100 pairs while I had the chance. Ran for years in 1010 without an injury, just 2 weeks running in the 1011 and I'm facing my worst knee pain in over 25 years of running. That wil...

I'm a big guy 6'2 220 with flat feet and these 1011's work for me, I would get another pair.

I am 53, 6 ft.,190 lbs. and have been running for 32 years, 30 miles per week. This was no substitute for the 1010. Felt like someone beat my heels with a baseball bat.

This is a great shoe. I find the cushioning very good. I have a pair of Pearl Izumi SyncoGuide II's which I like but I can really feel the difference when I run in these shoes. I also have NB 858 which I like ok but not as well as these.

Sorry, I don't care for these shoes.
It seems that I can't get a New Balance shoe that feels like it has any forefoot cushioning. the 857 was better but still not good enough. The 1011 and the 758 are bad. My last hope is the 1224. I realize that some people love NB and that is fine with me. They j...

I'm 53, have been running for 27 years, and this is the best shoe I can remember using. There may be others out there better for me but "you can't try them all". I run 7 to 12 miles every other day and have used these shoes for about 6 weeks now. I might add that I use orthotics.

Fri, June 13,2008:
I am a 230 lb. flat footed runner. I used to run in the NB 1010 but these shoes are lighter and much more comfortable. I use the blue superfeet as well. These shoes have corrected my over-pronation better than any other shoe I have worn. No blisters, no complaints.

I did not like this shoe. It caused blisters on both inside ankle bones because of a poor design. If you have flat feet, don't buy this shoe.

Mon, March 17,2008:
Stiffest shoe I have ever put on my foot. I'm wearing the beast and have been looking for another shoe to rotate. The 1011 is great for over-pronation, sometimes I feel that the stiffness itself is doing the job. Have superfeet insole in them and no problems yet. Not as comfortable as the beast.

These shoes are bulky, but lightweight. They protect my feet great but not much stability for the ankles. Not to good for those who wear orthotics.
